1. The Basics: What We Are (And Aren't)

We are a digital capital staging platform. We allow users to participate in real-world infrastructure, technology, and mobility projects in Bangladesh. You use our app to allocate funds to specific projects and receive performance-based distributions based on how well those projects perform in the real world.

No. We are a commercial operating platform, not a scheduled bank or mutual fund regulated by the BSEC. Funds held in your ONE INVESTMENT wallet do not earn interest and are not protected by bank deposit insurance.

You must be at least 18 years old and successfully pass our mandatory Know-Your-Customer (KYC) identity verification process.

Yes. ONE INVESTMENT is open to Non-Resident Bangladeshis (NRBs) and approved international users, provided you successfully pass our international identity verification (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) protocols.

2. Your Digital Wallet & Payments

No. Your in-app wallet is a "closed-loop staging ledger." It exists for one reason only: to temporarily hold your funds before you allocate them to a project and to receive payouts when projects distribute funds.

Our platform operates strictly in Bangladeshi Taka (BDT). If you deposit USD, CAD, or another foreign currency via an international gateway or SWIFT transfer, it is automatically converted to BDT before entering your wallet. When you withdraw, it is converted back to your local currency by the clearing banks.

You do. ONE INVESTMENT does not control exchange rates. Any fees charged by banks or payment gateways for currency conversion (both on deposit and withdrawal), as well as any losses due to currency value changes during your project lock-in, are entirely your responsibility.

You can fund your wallet via approved Mobile Financial Services (MFS), direct bank transfers, or authorized international payment gateways. Withdrawals can only be sent back to a verified bank, MFS, or international account that strictly matches the name on your KYC profile.

If your money is sitting in your wallet as "Staged Funds" (meaning it is not allocated to a project), yes, you can withdraw it anytime. Once you allocate funds to a project, they become "Deployed Capital" and are locked for the duration of that project's cycle.

Because of banking clearing cycles and fraud-check protocols, timelines vary:

Local Withdrawals (Bangladesh): Generally take 7 to 21 working days.
International Withdrawals (USA, Canada, etc.): Generally take 14 to 30 working days due to cross-border SWIFT and correspondent banking processes.

3. Project Participation, Locks & Returns

No. The moment you enter your OTP/PIN and confirm participation, your funds become "Deployed Capital." The money is immediately put to work in the real economy (e.g., inventory, customs, operations). It is strictly non-refundable until the project lock-in period ends.

While standard lock-in periods are often 12 months, they can vary by project. The specific lock-in duration for any tranche will always be clearly displayed on the project page before you confirm participation.

Absolutely not. We do not offer fixed-income or "risk-free" guarantees. You are funding real-world businesses. If a business faces supply chain issues, lower demand, currency devaluation, or tax hikes, your returns may be lower than expected, or you could face partial capital loss.

That is an operational target based on business projections, not a legally binding promise. It is the goal our operations team works toward, but it is purely performance-based.

Before any profit distributions reach your wallet, we must deduct "Operational Reserves." This is the reality of running a physical business — we pay for maintenance, spare parts, and operations before profits are distributed (this is our Profit Waterfall model). Additionally, we automatically deduct any required Tax Deducted at Source (TDS), Advance Income Tax (AIT), or VAT in compliance with the National Board of Revenue (NBR).

4. Platform Updates and Policy Changes

Yes. Because the regulatory environment and economic conditions change, we reserve the right to update our Master Terms, Risk Disclosures, and Policy documents at any time. This includes adjusting standard lock-in periods or target distribution formulas for future projects. Any material changes will be communicated via an in-app notice, and your continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of these updates.

5. Privacy, KYC & Account Security

It is the law. To prevent money laundering and terrorist financing, authorities like the Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU) require us to strictly collect and verify this data.

We will disable your account access, but we cannot erase your financial footprint immediately. By law, we are required to securely archive your wallet ledgers, KYC data, and transaction history for 5 to 7 years for regulatory auditing purposes.

While we use bank-grade 256-bit AES encryption, internet outages or cyber incidents can happen. Our audited, encrypted internal accounting ledgers remain the final source of truth for your money. If a verified breach occurs, we are committed to notifying you within 72 hours.
